Mobile app for iOS and Android, which allows the monitoring of patients’ electrocardiogram (ECG) data non-invasively.

We have launched the first version of our app, designed to transform stroke prevention through the use of advanced digital technologies and artificial intelligence. This innovative tool, developed within the framework of the Innostroke project and now available, allows continuous monitoring of a patient’s cardiac status, integrating ECG data collected from mobile devices, such as smartwatches. In addition, the app incorporates information on the patient’s lifestyle and uses predictive algorithms that analyze patterns in real time to anticipate potential anomalies related to stroke risk.
This solution is designed to incorporate upcoming advancements in genetic and molecular biomarker analysis, enabling even more detailed and personalized insights. By significantly enhancing the accuracy of data interpretation, it will support more effective and tailored preventive recommendations. This proactive approach not only aims to predict stroke risk more precisely but also to improve patients’ quality of life through ongoing, personalized monitoring.
In the app’s initial version, patients can effortlessly record their ECG data in real time and access a summary of their vital signs. Healthcare professionals, meanwhile, will benefit from a comprehensive analysis of this data, enabling them to assess cerebrovascular risk and develop targeted prevention strategies. Importantly, the interpretation of health data will be handled exclusively by medical professionals, ensuring both the safety and accuracy of the risk evaluations.
“This app is the first step toward more preventative, personalized, and accessible medicine. We want to offer every patient a tool that not only informs them, but also improves their quality of life,” says Daniele Lezzi , co-founder of OneCareAI, senior researcher in the Department of Computer Science, and lead developer of the OneCareAI technology .
The launch of this initial version of the app marks an important milestone, bringing patients and professionals closer to a new era in cerebrovascular disease prevention. With this tool, we are taking a firm step toward democratizing access to advanced technology for cerebrovascular health monitoring, promoting a more accessible and efficient approach to stroke prevention.
